Throttle Aerospace Systems (TAS) is a pioneer in the Indian drone industry, with the distinction of being the first DGCA approved drone maker for civil drones and having a license to manufacture military drones from MoD. TAS is driven by a vision to create innovative products and solutions that can transform the future of mobility in various sectors.
TAS has a wide range of drones that cater to diverse applications such as land mapping, surveillance, cargo, inspection, agriculture, disaster management and more. Some of its flagship products include DOPO, TACT, Nimble, L-Series, Defender and more. TAS is also the first company in India to complete BVLOS trials and submit recommendations to DGCA. TAS is eligible for the Government of India’s PLI scheme.
TAS is a part of NeoSky and RattanIndia Enterprises (REL), a business conglomerate with interests in thermal power, eCommerce, drones, EVs, FinTech and fashion brands. The group has two listed companies with a combined revenue of around Rs.10000 Cr (~$1.2 Bn), a market cap of around Rs.15000 Cr (~ $1.8 Bn) and employs around 2700 employees. NeoSky is a comprehensive drone player with presence in drone product, service and training. TAS has a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Kolar District, near Narsapura, one of the largest industrial regions in Karnataka State. TAS also has RnD units in Delhi and Bangalore offices.
